Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions below form the basis under which your order will be executed. It
is important to read them.
The initial consultation is complimentary. Once the delivery date or your wedding flowers
is booked Indigo Blooms can be contacted by phone and/or email at any stage to answer any
questions and queries you may have. Additional consultations in person are chargeable to
cover time and travel.
Quotation and Deposit
A quote for the cost of your wedding flowers will be sent to you after the initial consultation.
This is a guide price as you may make changes in terms of type of arrangement and quantity.
An updated quote will be sent for your approval should any changes be required. Quotations
are valid for 30 days from the date of delivery.
The total price includes delivery of flowers on the agreed delivery day to an agreed home or
venue. Additional deliveries will be subject to a charge. If postage is required, the quoted
price will include packaging and courier charges.
No wedding date is booked until the deposit has been paid. A non- refundable deposit of 25%
of the confirmed quote is required to hold and book the delivery date of your wedding
flowers. This should be paid with the return of the signed contract. Payment is accepted
by cheque, cash or direct payment via internet banking.
Once the deposit has been paid then the prices and dates are secure unless stated otherwise.
The deposit will be deducted from the final invoice.
Indigo Blooms takes great pride in creating beautiful bouquets and arrangements and makes
every effort to provide the exact varieties discussed. Sometimes, however, due to
circumstances beyond control it may be necessary to substitute. Any changes will be
discussed as soon as possible with the you.
In the event of cancellation, the booking fee will not be refunded. Additional charges may
also apply: Any cancellation 2 months prior to the booked delivery date will incur a further
charge of 25% of the total amount. Any cancellation 1 month prior to the booked delivery
date will incur a further charge of 50% of the total amount. Full payment will be required
for any cancellations within 14 days of the booked delivery date. Charges are applied at
Indigo Blooms discretion pending cancellation circumstances.
No charges will be applied should the wedding be changed to a different date and all products
are still required – subject to date availability.
Payment in full is required at least 28 days before your booked delivery date. It is your
responsibility to ensure that the invoice details are correct. Indigo Blooms reserves the
right to cancel any wedding flowers, if payment is not made by this date and are not obliged
to offer any compensation for inconvenience caused.
Whilst we endeavour to make all deliveries within sufficient time before the event, we cannot
be held responsible for any unexpected events that may occur which are beyond our control.
We will endeavour to make alternative arrangements should this happen. In this event, refunds
will be at our discretion.
Should the client have any issues with the quality or standard of the flowers/displays,
the client must notify Indigo Blooms on the day of receipt. Indigo Blooms reserves the
right to rectify any errors on the day without prejudice. Any complaints regarding the
quality, shape, size, quantity etc cannot be accepted after the day of delivery.
We require a signature from yourself or an appointed person when you receive your
flowers to confirm their delivery is of acceptable condition and that quantities are
correct. Any queries must be raised within 1 hour of delivery.
Hiring of Bouquets & Arrangements
25% of the monies paid for hired items will be returned in full on safe collection or
delivery of all Indigo Blooms property dependant on the following conditions being met:
The return date will be agreed and documented and is the hirers responsibility to adhere
to it. Refunds will be at the discretion of Indigo Blooms for any late delivery/issue.
The Hirer shall be solely responsible for the hired items, not the reception / event venue
/ hotel / or any other third party to whom shall take possession of the hired items.
The Hirer shall be alone responsible for insuring the hired items are kept in good order
from the time of receipt of delivery until back into the possession of Indigo Blooms.
Any damage to hired items or missing items will be deducted from the hire refund. It is
then the responsibility of the Hirer to reclaim any of these costs from the venue if the
venue was at fault.
All hired items are for indoor use only unless specified.
The items hired must not be altered in any way, without prior written approval. Some items
are fragile and/or delicate so please handle with care at all times.
The Hirer under no circumstances will be permitted to spray the items with any hairspray,
perfume or any other spray.
All goods should be pre-packed in their original boxes if collection / postage has been
agreed unless otherwise stated.
Arrangements delivered may be photographed for use on Indigo Blooms promotion material,
unless specifically stated otherwise by the client.
